Don't forget to…
This post comes after two really tough weeks for me, and then one nearly perfect, laid back weekend. It’s my advice to myself for the week ahead. Breathe. The rest will work itself out.

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!
🙂 This one was harder than the others. I wanted to do it all with nature pics but nature pics are harder to make look like letters. Your Aaaaahhhhh was what I kept hoping to feel as I put the photos together. Never did, but went with it anyway, figuring the point of this project is not get all anal.
Long-winded thank you! 😉
Beautiful ~ this is such a wonderful and inspiring project. Makes me want to rush outside with my camera and find these hidden letters. And yes, please remember to BREATHE and recall the joy at finding the letters 🙂
Thank you, Simon. If you rush outside and find hidden letters, send them to me. Maybe I’ll make words out of the letters people send from all over the world. That could be fun!
I wrote an email letter to my daughter when she was stressing with work, etc. and sprinkled “breathe” throughout just trying to get her to relax. Lovely work again, J! I’m SO glad you had a good weekend. *hugs* Dani
Thanks, Dani. I needed this past weekend. I could use a good week too. Cross your fingers!
It’s perfect j! Just perfect!
I’m just blown away with emotion — you are truly inspiring.
I would like to go ahead and place my order for the set now, please!
Just perfect…
Well, this post was definitely Becky-inspired. This is our message to each other pretty much all the time! (And yeah, your birthday is all taken care of!)
Na-ah. I want to be the first paying customer! And, I thought we were super double secret best friends? 😉
This is appropriate for me lately too. It is a great reminder to myself: “Don’t forget to breathe!”
Excellent! Thank you.
Mary
Stress seems to be in the air. Think we could all use a breather. Thank you.
Wow, j. This is impressive. The B, the R…all of it. You have quite the eye for finding the secret alphabet.
And, breathe, ah, good word.
The B and the R of it all! 😉 I actually had a pine cone B that looked really cool on the ground, but not so B-ish in the picture. Funny what works and what doesn’t. (The H is pretty iffy on this one too, but the trees were too cool to leave out.)
Stop with that! They are all cool. (not iffy!)
Perfectly imperfect. And beautiful.
So there. 🙂
A lovely reminder. Thanks J.
Thank you, Kathleen!
Gorgeous. This sounds silly, but I do often forget to breathe…I mean, clearly, not really, but I don’t allow myself to fully, deeply breathe, and it makes such a difference when I do. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.
It doesn’t sound silly at all! What amazes me is how much it helps. I’ve noticed in yoga. It’s when I focus my attention on my breath that my poses become most stable, my insides most calm. Thanks for commenting!
Very cool. Darn near left me breathless.
Keep on rockin’ on J-O-Rama

Just aspiring to be as cool G-O-Rama. *HUG*
I love the R.
Me too. I had to crop it so you cold see it. Lot of brush around it in real life.
What I meant to say was I particularly like the R. I like the others, too. Didn’t want them to feel left out.
j,
The timing (as always) is so perfect on this! Not only is the word appropriate but so beautifully presented.
The last couple of weeks have been very difficult for me as well and I find the words that I have been writing are coming from that dark place within, covered in some really nasty goo. Been trying to wipe them off, find the beauty underneath and rearrange them to make sense. Seems I have been holding my breath the entire time, afraid to breathe in the toxic fumes.
These are the times I need to step back, breathe in deep and trust that everything is going to work out okay. Definitely not always easy but I find when I do, the words become beautiful again.
Thanks so much for sharing!!
Christie, Me too. Just breathing sometimes, just stopping for a second, unties some of those internal knots. And writing… a survival skill. Hang in there. Grab my hand if you need it.
Your advice comes at the perfect time for me. Really. I needed to hear that!
Yes, you’re about to be a star on the literary horizon. You have to breathe.
Oh Judy this is great! Every letter is so special and has its own story to tell. I love it. Breathing is so basic, we take it for granted. When I’m stressed and unfocused I take deep breaths, think about where my feet are, if they are cold or not, do a little stretch and just BE in the moment for a minute. Sort of check in with myself and my body. Are my shoulders tense, my neck, am I physically uncomfortable in any way. Breathing the whole time. A head to toe assessment of where I am and how I feel. For a minute or two the stress goes away, when I’m done I feel refreshed enough to move forward. Breathe, it does the body good.
Can’t wait until next weeks secret letters.
Joanne, I like “think about where my feet are.” I’m going to do that. I have a really physical reaction to my stress. Taking a minute would do me a lot of good, I think.
I don’t have time to breathe.
Ha! Okay, I’ll take two minutes and breathe for you too. (This’ll work. I tweet you how much better you feel.)
As always Judy you are a breath of fresh air! My favorite is the tree and the hydro pole.
I know what you mean these last few weeks have been brutal for me also. Must be the never ending snow in Cincy that is lingering far too long; while the sun scarcely makes an appearance. Snow (exhale) sun (inhale)

Definitely something in the air. Everyone seems to be having a rough go with it. (Or maybe they don’t want to seem too happy when they’re scraping me up off the ground.)
Love your new (well not really new cause it’s almost over, but you know what I mean) Monday posts, you should keep it up throughout the year. I’m very inspired to try it out sometime.
Your word has so much meaning and the photos are great. It does remind me to just breathe, my last few weeks were exhausting to say the least, but this is a great reminder!
Thank you! 🙂
I might do it periodically. Not every Monday, though. Finding letters is harder than you think! (But very cool, too.)
[…] love of the word breathe and my need to be reminded to “just breathe”. This incredible visual art representation of the word, by the incredibly talented Judy Clement Wall, helps me remind myself. I also am a fan […]
Confession, since I’m Archive Girl, I come here… to the secret alphabet, when I need to steady myself, to calm my thoughts. It’s a little bit of magic looking at the pictures/words/art you created. They’re beautiful, still now. I haven’t figured out how to print them off so they’re normal sized. I actually have this one on my phone.
Beautiful stuff j.
Thank you. That’s really sweet.
🙂
I still, without thought, automatically look for letters in nature.
Breathe.
Still the best.
Tattoo soon.
