Upcoming events, including One Blissful Day

Hello friends! Wanted to let you know about some fun upcoming events!

Personal Manifesto Workshop

On May 19th, I'll be teaching my newest class for Craft Maker's Studio, the Personal Manifesto Workshop. Since my book, Find Your Awesome, came out last spring, I've been developing talks, classes, and workshops around the themes and activities that make up the journal.

This is my latest and I've poured myself into creating a fun and evolutionary experience. Personal manifestos are like mission statements with personality, business plans for the soul. A personal manifesto is both a statement of your core values and a call to action. It can be a valuable tool in your personal evolution, helping you to think through what matters most in your life, and pointing you in the direction of your unique true north. In this workshop, I’ll guide you through the process of identifying your core values, beliefs, and aspirations, getting them in writing, and distilling them into personally empowering statements. Then we’ll switch gears, break out the pencils, pens and paints and create personal manifesto works of art for you to take home. I think it's going to be amazing, and we're so excited about it, we're making a special offer.

Chalk Lettering Workshop

Chalkboard signs are very popular right now. You see them everywhere, from coffee shops to birthday parties and wedding celebrations. In this Intro to Chalk Lettering workshop, you’ll learn some tricks for designing both print and cursive fonts, plus, how to turn your regular cursive lettering into faux calligraphy. We’ll practice writing and embellishing techniques, and then we’ll take your new skills to the chalkboard! You’ll leave with your practice board, instructional packet, chalk, and chalk pen. Come chalk with us!

One Blissful Day

My very favorite speaking event of all time happened last October at Tahoe Boho's One Blissful Day event. I was nervous (still very new to having personal appearances), but then Carla, the event coordinator (whom I'd known online but met in person for the first time that day), introduced me in such a personal, touching, heartfelt way, it made me cry. You'd think maybe that wouldn't be the best way to start a talk, but it was amazing. I felt loved. and held. and safe there, talking to a room of equally generous people about my Year of Fearless Love and all that had happened as a result of it. Plus, there was yoga, meditation, sound baths, a jewelry trunk show, lunch, cheese, and wine out on a deck with a breathtaking view.

You can imagine how quickly I said yes when Carla asked me if I wanted to be part of the second annual One Blissful Day event. This time, I'll be talking about self-love (why it's so hard and so very important), how to make self-love a practice, and specifically, how GRATITUDE can be the easiest, most effective, life-changing self-love tool of all. Then we'll switch gears a bit, do some magical art tricks, and create beautiful, personally meaningful gratitude wheels so that you can launch your own 30-day gratitude project when you get home.

And it's not just me, all the presenters and teachers will be back this year, plus a few new ones - same gorgeous place, same gorgeous view.

This is one of my favorite events of the year, and I'd love to see you there. Join us!
